He Tipu regularly needs the aid of volunteers to complete the mammoth task of
re-establishing the native nursery and Maara Kai gardens.

Our Volunteer programme supports our goals of:

  • Training and work experience.

  • Group activities and friendships.

  • Growing plants to support our community and rohe projects.

  • Annual native plant giveaways to local people and projects.

  • Growing fruit and vegetables.

  • Distribution of produce.

We welcome corporate groups looking to make a difference in our community.

Teachers and their classes can volunteer at 12 years and over. Providing vital life skills to our youth.
